2027 WU Global Tax Policy Symposium « Future of Tax »

The Second Future of Tax Symposium will explore the evolving relationship between taxation and competitiveness in a rapidly changing global economy. Building on the inaugural Future of Tax Symposium, the 2024 WU Conference on Tax and Competitiveness, and ongoing research from academic institutions, international organizations and policy observatories, the symposium will examine whether competitiveness can be defined universally or whether it must be understood within specific regional, economic and social contexts. The EU Observatory perspective will inform one dedicated session, while the wider conference will compare regional approaches and consider how tax policy and tax administration can support productivity, innovation, investment, resilience, inclusion, public finances and economic integration.
