Daniel Cohen will be missed

We are deeply saddened by the passing of Daniel Cohen, brilliant professor, passionate researcher, and astute observer of the evolution of society. Daniel inspired and mentored generations of students and young economists. He played a vital role in the creation of the Paris School of Economics. He promoted a vision of economics serving society and the common good, in dialogue with all the social sciences. His warmth, brilliance, and kindness will be deeply missed. Our thoughts are with his family and friends.
